Clothesline Project event canceled

The Clothesline Project exhibition slated for Tuesday, April 26, on the Pentacrest lawn on the University of Iowa campus has been canceled due to inclement weather.

The Clothesline Project, founded in 1990 in Massachusetts, addresses the issue of violence against women. It is a vehicle for women affected by violence—victims/survivors of rape, incest, child sexual abuse, and domestic violence, and those attacked because of their sexual orientation—to express their emotions by decorating a shirt. These shirts are displayed on clotheslines. Visit for more information.
