Susan Junis will join the Rape Victim Advocacy Program (RVAP) at The University of Iowa as the new prevention education coordinator, beginning July 1.
In this role, Junis will be responsible for coordinating prevention education programs in local and rural secondary schools and planning events for Sexual Assault Awareness Month every April as well as doing client advocacy.
Prior to joining RVAP, Junis worked as a domestic abuse advocate at the Domestic Violence Intervention Program and as a regional organizer for Iowans for Sensible Priorities.
