UI assists with Iowa Braille School cleanup

Winds topping 100 miles per hour blew through eastern Iowa Monday, July 11, felling many a tree and flattening several cornfields throughout the region.

University of Iowa Facilities Management sent crews to Vinton, Iowa, to provide assistance to the Iowa Braille School, which was damaged by severe weather early Monday, July 11. UI workers provided power generators and helped clear storm debris.
