Kinnick collective’s actions speak louder than words

Iowa fans put on a special show at Kinnick Stadium during the football game against Northwestern on Saturday, Oct. 15. During the national anthem, fans held up cards to collectively display a stars and stripes pattern throughout the stadium. An America Needs Farmers pattern followed the stars and stripes.

When the cards were put away, the stadium was striped with black and gold. Fans in attendance wore black or gold, depending on which section they were seated in. It was an impressive display of Hawkeye pride. fyi was on hand to capture it — click the thumbnails below for a closer look.
