Dana Thomann is the new director of the University of Iowa Upward Bound program in the Center for Diversity and Enrichment. Thomann began her new position Oct. 11.
She holds a bachelors degree from The University of Iowa and has completed master’s course work in education for Teach for America certification at the University of St. Thomas in Houston. Prior to her new appointment she served as coordinator of academic services for Upward Bound for two years. She also worked as a language arts teacher in Mission, S.D., through Teach for America.
