Looking for something exciting to do with the kids for Halloween? Old Capitol Museum, the Museum of Natural History, and Department of Geoscience will host the sixth annual Creepy Campus Crawl from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28. The event is free and open to the public.

For more information on the Creepy Campus Crawl, call 319-335-0606.

Highlights include a superhero transformation in the Museum of Natural History: “Rusty the Sloth: The First Avenger” will take flight in his new costume. Attendees can sneak through haunted Mammal Hall with Batman and Wolverine, save Superman from the Kryptonite cave, and soar through Hageboeck Hall of Birds with Hawkman.

For those looking for screams of a different sort, screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, will be held at midnight, Friday–Saturday, Oct. 28–29, at the Bijou Cinema in the Iowa Memorial Union. Admission is free for UI students and $7 for the general public (tickets are available at the University Box Office, located on the first floor of the Iowa Memorial Union). Do the “Time Warp” at the castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter—there’s no shortage of audience participation opportunity.
