Faculty, staff invited to UI Health Fair Nov. 2

University of Iowa faculty and staff are invited to the UI Health Fair to be held on Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Main Deck of the UI Field House. “Be A Healthy Hawkeye” is the theme for this year’s event where you can get information on your health care benefits and financial planning, obtain health-related giveaways, and enter multiple door prize drawings. 

Screenings and activities provided at no cost to you include:

* blood pressure checks
* cholesterol testing
* blood glucose checks (please fast for 8 hours prior, offered until 1 p.m.)
* bone density testing
* blood drive
* neck and shoulder massages
* registration for “Turkey Trot” and “Live Healthy Iowa” programs

Flu vaccines will be available at the Health Fair for free to UI Faculty/staff in 50 percent or greater regular positions. You must have your faculty/staff ID card.
