MLK Jr. Celebration committee seeks your participation

The University of Iowa Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration of Human Rights planning committee is coordinating the activities scheduled for Jan. 17–29, 2011. The celebration will kick off with the annual MLK Jr. Community Celebration at 6 p.m., Monday, Jan. 17, in the Main Lounge of the Iowa Memorial Union.

The planning committee invites student organizations and University departments to develop programs and events that will enhance the educational impact of the celebration. Programs/events should represent the hope, healing, and service to America that King inspired.
