Voices of Soul to perform fall concert Dec. 3

Voices of Soul will hold its 2011 fall concert at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Congregational United Church of Christ, 30 N. Clinton St.

The concert is free and the public is welcome.

Voices of Soul has been providing gospel music and performance at the University of Iowa for more than 40 years. The purpose of Voices of Soul is to provide a means by which African-American musical culture can be nurtured and enhanced. Voices of Soul creates an atmosphere that not only allows students to share their musical awareness with one another, but also helps students to expand their cultural awareness of the rich traditions of African-American music.
